Training for Chefs
We aren’t chefs, and to be perfectly honest we prefer to be next to a campfire than in a kitchen – but we do know how to locate, identify and use the finest wild food the British countryside has to offer.
Since 2010 we have been working with Michelin Star restaurants around the world, both directly and through our long collaboration with Lord Newborough and Rhug Organic Estate.
We work with chefs and restaurants to find new ingredients, learn more about the traceability of foraged items and integrate wild food into their dishes.

Working with Brands
In 2013 we started working with brands that make use of foraged and wild-harvested ingredients in their products.
For brands that care about the authenticity and sustainability of their products – it can be difficult to integrate wild ingredients into the supply chain and production process. We work closely with teams from the worlds of organic skincare, alcoholic beverages (and even the production of bar snacks!) to ensure that they can work with what nature can provide.
There are also the legal and regulatory frameworks that form part of any modern business.
We bring our in-field experience in everything from Environmental Health regulations to Ecological Impact Statements, and we create processes and methodologies that satisfy the strictest of external scrutiny.

Working with Organisations
Foraging, wild food and all aspects of ethnobotany offers many opportunities for charities, NGOs and businesses.
A greater connection to nature, to the landscape and our shared ancestry is easily found when we take people out into nature with a purpose.
Over the past 15 years we have worked with all sizes of organisations, from local charity groups to multi-national corporations and government departments. We can provide training events, experiences and structured team-building and bonding days to remember.
