Summer Tree Identification Course

Our Tree Identification Course takes place at a large, mixed habitat estate near Ruthin where we will find and identify a number of different commonly found trees.

During the day you will learn about the anatomy of trees, key features to look for and how to use these features and habitat information to identify trees across the UK. Our aim for this day is that you will leave with the skills to use ID guides effectively and identify trees with more confidence than when you arrived.

We will bring a range of ID guides for you to borrow and use as well as a few specific tools which over the years we have found to be of most use when identifying trees.
