Mushroom Identification Course

Our Mushroom Identification Course takes place in one of the large forests near Ruthin where we will delve into the fantastic world of fungi.

During the day you will learn about the anatomy of fungi and mushrooms, key features to look for and where and when to go mushroom hunting. Our aim for this day is that you will leave with the skills to use ID guides effectively and identify mushrooms with more confidence than when you arrived.

We will bring a range of ID guides for you to borrow and use as well as a few specific tools which over the years we have found to be of most use when identifying mushrooms.
