Our Coastal Foraging Courses focus on wild edible species which are commonly found on sandy and rocky beaches around the UK.
The course takes around two hours and follows a circular route through a small harbour and a large sandy beach with rocky outcrops on the coast of North Wales near Porthmadog.
During the course we will discuss around 20 different species of plant, seaweed, and shellfish which you will be able to find again, identify and gather without any specialist equipment.
We also want to ensure that you can continue your foraging journey beyond the course and will be recommending books and ID guides for further reading; during the course we will discuss the law and ethics of foraging.
