Our work in wild food is mirrored in our work in conservation and habitat management.
True, authentic wild food cannot be separated out from conservation and ecology. Any forager, hunter or angler must be aware not only of their impacts on that environment – but also what they can do to help improve things for the other species that live there.
When we are not working on our foraging and wild food courses in North Wales we are working to manage the sites we have access to.
We work throughout the year to create and restore habitats, remove invasive species and promote biodiversity and healthy ecosystems for our local communities.
Part of the fee for each course place we sell also goes to supporting Tir Byw – a community-involved landscape management project from LandLinked CIC.

We deliver expert foraging and wild food training as part of our wider work managing habitats in North Wales.
Every single one of our courses and events feeds back into improving those habitats, helping to provide healthy ecosystems for our local wildlife and communities.
